To Mothers and Motherhood

A lot of people have encountered this question – ‘Which profession should be paid the most and deserves the most respect?’…..What’s your answer – Engineer? Doctor? Lawyer? My answer is a MOTHER.

Being a mother is the hardest job. Mothers work 24/7-365. They have to take care of the family, keep the house organised and sometimes even work in offices. A mother has the ability to love selflessly. Despite working so hard without any vacation, mothers are not often credited or loved as they deserve. A mother’s sacrifices cannot be written in words.

You must be wondering why I have attached this photo. Well it signifies something very close to me. In my case, my father plays the part of both my father as well as my mother. This is a very precious photo because this was the last photo taken of our family. My mother isn’t with me anymore but my father doesn’t let me feel that grief.

So make this Mother’s Day the best day for your mothers. And remember your mother should be cherished and loved everyday and not just today. Even though my mother is not with me today, I know she will always be there for me and I always have her blessing. I am planning to make some lemon tarts today in her memory.
